The speech team won their third District Championship in a row with a stellar 19 event finalists, and a school record 18 events moving on to State this week! The Knights also set the record for most individual District Champions, and won 7 of 10 events!
Medalists were Olivia Nelson – 3 time champ in Duo Acting, Humorous Acting, and Informative; Bella McCown – Champ in Duo Acting and 5th in Group Acting; Emi Taylor – 3rd in Duo Acting and 5th in Group Acting; Gideon Terwilleger – 3rd in Duo Acting, 2nd in Extemp, and Champ in Program of Interp; DaZayah Hartshorn-Harvey – 2nd in Entertainment and 4th in Humorous Acting; Julia Johnson – 4th in Entertainment, 3rd in Serious Acting and CHAMP in Persuasive; Lillias McKillip – CHAMP in Extemp and 2nd in Informative; Diwata Patrick – 3rd in Group Drama and 4th in Poetry; AJ Lempke – 3rd in Group Drama; Phoenix Braatz – 3rd in Group Drama; Chantelle Runyan – 3rd in Group Drama; Mia Jensen – 5th in Group Drama; Kalainey Nickel – 5th in Group Drama, CHAMP in Serious Acting and 3rd in Program of Interp; Avery Bridgeford – 5th in Group Drama; and Aolani Wilson – 2nd in Poetry!
