The debate team competed at Millard West and Millard South for their past two tournaments. Freshman Marin Weisser was the champion of Novice Congress at both tournaments! Sophomore Hunter Davis was the top presiding officer at both tournaments at 3rd speaker at Millard South. Senior Lexi Velgersdyk was the champion of Varsity Congress at Millard South and 4th at Millard West. In Varsity Public Forum, sophomores Holly Bowen and Evey Friedman were quarterfinalists at Millard South and seniors Trey Fenton and Garrison Mehlin were quarterfinalists at Millard West. Garrison was the 5th place speaker as well. Freshman Baran Safa was a semifinalist at Millard South in novice Lincoln-Douglas after an undefeated record in preliminary debates.
