The small-but-mighty LSE Debate team kicked off the holiday season on Saturday placing third at the Millard West Fred Robertson Invitational! In Novice Lincoln-Douglas, freshman Norah Witte made semifinals and was awarded Top Speaker, while sophomore Ruthie Stokes made quarterfinals; in Varsity Lincoln-Douglas, sophomore Baran Safa was the 5th place Speaker. Senior Beau Cassell was the champion of Novice Congress, and sophomore Marin Weisser was the runner-up in Varsity Congress.
