We want to take a moment to recognize some outstanding achievements from members of our Business Club. The team of Hunter Hain, Eloise Carter, and Jack and Beau Cassell recently competed in the Nebraska Personal Finance Challenge. Going up against over 1,800 students statewide, these Knights rose to the top and were crowned State Champions. They’ll now go on to represent Nebraska at the National Personal Finance Challenge this June in Atlanta, Georgia.
In addition, last weekend, three members of our Business Club represented Southeast at the FBLA State Leadership Conference. Jack Cassell placed 8th in Human Resource Management and earned an Honorable Mention in Personal Finance, while Beau Cassell secured 4th Place in Public Policy and Advocacy, along with an Honorable Mention in Healthcare Administration. As a team, the Cassell twins brought home 2nd Place in both Hospitality and Event Management and Sports and Entertainment Management.
To top it all off, Jack was elected FBLA State Secretary, and Beau was elected State Treasurer. These accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible without their campaign manager, Ryan Hazen. Jack and Beau will represent both Southeast and Nebraska FBLA this summer at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California.
Congratulations to all of these students for representing Southeast with excellence!
