The PSAT Exam is an optional practice test for the SAT and is given each year in October. The PSAT is also the qualifying exam for the National Merit Scholarship Competition when students take it during their junior year. The PSAT may be taken by highly motivated and academically driven 10th grade students as a practice exam for those who choose to take the PSAT their junior year. There are a limited number of seats at each location date and time. Students will register in the Counseling Center with Mrs. Winter and pay the registration fee immediately following sign up.
PSAT Registration Dates:
September 4-11 – LPS JUNIORS ONLY
September 12-20 – LPS SOPHOMORES and LPS JUNIORS
Cost:
$40.00
$25.00 for students on free/reduced lunch
Two Test Dates and Locations: This year there are two test dates with corresponding locations. A student will register for one date and location.
Saturday, October 12, 2024 – Where: Lincoln Southwest School -8:00 am (During Fall Break) OR
Monday, October 14, 2024 – Where: Lincoln Northeast High School – 8:00 am
