Service Wall of Fame

Service Wall of Fame

This year we are recognizing a service project that was completed during the 1998-1999 school year with a plaque on the LSE Service Wall of Fame. During that school year, LSE Students and staff took   an active role in the planning, design work, fund-raising, publicity and construction of a Habitat for Humanity home. The project was called “Every Knight Needs A Castle”. LSE student groups raised over $30,000 for the project. Southeast High School was one of the first high schools in the nation to build a Habitat for Humanity house.

Included in the photo below are home owner Dianna Utley and her son Darnell.  Dr. Nancy Becker, Principal at LSE in 1999, Former LSE Student and then DECA Club President Derrick Eells, Brent Toalson and staff from Habitat for Humanity.
