LSE Scores at State Science Olympiad

The Nebraska State Science Olympiad took place Sat. April 5 on UNL East Campus. 20 Highs Schools competed in 19 scoring events. Southeast finished 4th in a tightly competed event. Lincoln Southwest won the high school division with Lincoln East finishing 5th. Bellevue East and West finished second and third.
Southeast was represented by: John Borstelmann, Vanessa Cecere, James Ferguson, Nate Hunt, Lindsey Jones, Lillie Lueke, Eric Mooring, Erika Ohles, Riley Vanek, and Tristan Willliams.
Southeast won medals in 7 of the 19 scoring events. These students worked hard in preparing for these events, regardless if they won a medal or not they all helped to win the trophy. Eric Mooring and Nate Hunt each won $500 scholarships for their first place victory in Fermi Questions. This continues Southeast's mastery of this event.
